1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when customers may request a refund for services purchased from GoHostPower.
This Refund Policy forms part of GoHostPower’s Terms of Service. By purchasing or using GoHostPower services, you agree to this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and any other applicable service-specific agreements.
Unless expressly stated in this Refund Policy or required by applicable law, all fees paid to GoHostPower are non-refundable.
2. General Refund Eligibility
GoHostPower may offer a refund for eligible services if a refund request is submitted within:
30 calendar days from the original purchase date
This refund period applies only to first-time purchases of eligible hosting services, unless otherwise stated.
Refund requests submitted after the refund period may be rejected.
GoHostPower reserves the right to approve, reject, or partially approve refund requests based on account activity, service usage, policy violations, payment status, fraud risk, abuse history, and applicable law.
3. Services Eligible for Refund
The following services may be eligible for refund if requested within the applicable refund period:
Shared hosting
WordPress hosting
Cloud hosting
VPS hosting, if not heavily used or abused
Business email hosting, where applicable
Website builder plans, where applicable
Hosting add-ons specifically marked as refundable
Other services clearly advertised as refundable at the time of purchase
Refund eligibility may depend on the specific product, billing cycle, usage level, and service terms shown during checkout.
4. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are generally non-refundable:
Domain name registrations
Domain name renewals
Domain name transfers
Domain redemption or recovery fees
Domain privacy protection, where already activated
SSL certificates
Software licenses
Control panel licenses
Paid themes, plugins, templates, or digital assets
Setup fees
Migration fees
Administrative fees
Processing fees
Custom development services
Custom server configuration services
Dedicated IP addresses, where already assigned
Used service periods
Overage fees
Third-party products or services
Services purchased using promotional credits
Services suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, spam, malware, phishing, illegal activity, or policy violations
Domain-related services are non-refundable because domain registries and registrars usually process registration, renewal, and transfer orders immediately.
5. Renewal Payments
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise.
You are responsible for managing your renewal settings, disabling auto-renewal where available, keeping payment methods updated, and cancelling services before renewal if you do not wish to continue using them.
Failure to disable auto-renewal before the renewal charge date does not automatically qualify for a refund.
GoHostPower may, at its discretion, consider refund requests for renewal payments if:
The refund request is submitted shortly after renewal;
The renewed service has not been used after renewal;
The service is not a domain, license, SSL certificate, third-party product, or other non-refundable item;
The account has no abuse, fraud, chargeback, or policy violation history.
6. Auto-Renewal
Some GoHostPower services may include auto-renewal to prevent service interruption.
By keeping auto-renewal enabled, you authorize GoHostPower or its payment processors to charge your payment method for service renewal at the then-current renewal price.
You may disable auto-renewal in your account settings where available.
If you disable auto-renewal and fail to manually renew your service before expiration, the service may expire, be suspended, terminated, or deleted. GoHostPower is not responsible for loss of services, data, websites, emails, domains, or business caused by failure to renew on time.
7. Refunds for Suspended or Terminated Accounts
GoHostPower may deny refunds if your account or service was suspended, restricted, or terminated due to:
Violation of GoHostPower’s Terms of Service
Violation of GoHostPower’s Acceptable Use Policy
Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
Malware, phishing, fraud, or scams
Copyright, trademark, or intellectual property violations
Illegal content or illegal activity
Network abuse or excessive resource abuse
Payment fraud or suspicious payment activity
Chargebacks or payment disputes
False, inaccurate, or misleading account information
Sanctions, export control, or compliance violations
Harassment, threats, or abuse toward GoHostPower staff or users
If GoHostPower terminates a service for serious abuse or illegal activity, no refund will be provided.
8. Partial Refunds
GoHostPower may issue partial refunds at its discretion.
Partial refunds may apply when:
Only part of an order is refundable;
A bundled package includes both refundable and non-refundable services;
The customer used the service for part of the billing period;
Administrative, processing, payment gateway, or third-party fees apply;
Promotional discounts, coupons, or credits were used;
The refund is required or adjusted under applicable law.
GoHostPower may deduct non-refundable fees, used service periods, taxes, payment processor fees, chargeback fees, administrative fees, or other applicable costs from the refunded amount.
9. Promotional Offers, Discounts, and Coupons
If you purchased a service using a promotion, coupon, discount, trial offer, bundle, or special campaign, any refund may be based on the actual amount paid after discounts.
Promotional credits, free services, bonus months, free domains, free SSL certificates, free email accounts, or other bundled benefits may be cancelled, removed, or charged at standard rates if the main service is refunded.
If a free domain or other free product was included with a hosting plan and the hosting plan is refunded, GoHostPower may deduct the standard cost of the domain or product from the refund amount.
10. Account Credits
GoHostPower may issue refunds as account credits at its discretion, especially where:
The original payment method does not support refunds;
The payment provider limits refund processing;
The payment method is closed, expired, blocked, or unavailable;
The customer requests credit instead of a cash refund;
The refund relates to an overpayment or order adjustment;
A partial refund is more practical as credit.
Unless otherwise stated:
Account credits are not transferable.
Account credits cannot be exchanged for cash.
Account credits may only be used within the same GoHostPower account.
Account credits may expire.
Account credits may be forfeited if the account is terminated for abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
11. Payment Processor and Bank Delays
If a refund is approved, GoHostPower will submit the refund to the applicable payment processor or payment method.
The time required for the refund to appear in your bank account, card statement, wallet, or payment account depends on your bank, card issuer, payment processor, or alternative payment provider.
GoHostPower is not responsible for delays, currency conversion differences, bank fees, payment processor fees, or restrictions imposed by banks or payment providers.
12. Currency Conversion and Fees
If your payment was made in a currency different from your bank account currency, your bank or payment provider may apply exchange rates or conversion fees.
Refunded amounts may differ from the original amount received in your local currency due to exchange rate changes, bank fees, payment provider fees, or currency conversion charges.
GoHostPower is not responsible for losses or differences caused by currency conversion, exchange rate fluctuations, or third-party fees.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute, you should contact GoHostPower’s billing team so we can review and attempt to resolve the issue.
If you initiate a chargeback, reversal, payment dispute, or unauthorized payment claim, GoHostPower may:
Suspend your account;
Suspend related services;
Cancel pending orders;
Restrict future purchases;
Recover outstanding fees;
Charge administrative or processing fees;
Require additional verification;
Terminate services where necessary.
Chargebacks do not cancel your obligation to pay for valid services used or fees owed.
14. Cancellation
You may cancel eligible services through your GoHostPower account or by contacting support, depending on the service type.
Cancellation stops future renewals where applicable, but it does not automatically create a refund.
To request a refund, you must submit a refund request according to this Refund Policy.
If you cancel a service, you are responsible for backing up your data before cancellation. Cancelled, expired, suspended, or terminated services may result in deletion of websites, files, databases, emails, backups, and other data.

Such exceptions do not create a general right to similar refunds in the future.
A refund granted in one case does not require GoHostPower to provide refunds in other cases.
18. Changes to This Refund Policy
GoHostPower may update or modify this Refund Policy at any time.
Changes will become effective when posted on GoHostPower’s website unless a later date is stated.
